I am an French photographer, based in Paris. After many years of working as an internet projects director, I started some years ago a cooperation with a french daily news portal Streetgeneration.fr. Much to my surprise, the challenge of working as reporter led to a renewed passion for photography ( I did my first photo session in 1983), especially for concerts photography. These days photography allows me to enhance news and feature stories with images, whether from a remote suburb or in Paris! Sometimes an image captures a moment in a way words fail to achieve. I aim to engage the reader through my photos; to focus on intriguing subjects and timely events or rock concerts that impact our lives (yes it happens!). I believe that a documentary or a concert’s photograph helps train the spotlight on reality.
I also love snapping quicky and unusual things encountered in daily life. Portraits are a particular favourite. It’s a joy seeing individual history reflected through people’s eyes and mapped on their faces. Within the past months, my work has appeared mainly in
